First thing in the morning Karen and Anne-Marie met up with the club President, Noel LaBerge.  Only to find out that he had never clipped toenails before!  Can you believe it?  Someone's got to educate him.  The day was extremely busy with all the showing, and the Board meeting.  (Which went very well)  Anne-Marie's Parents-in-Law came up from Indiana, so she went and enjoyed an afternoon with them.

Youth Judging

Karen won, Karen won!  Sort of....she won the Solid Jr Doe class.  You can not imagine how unbelievably happy she was!  Made only happier by the fact that she was surrounded by very dear friends.

Over all, Karen was very happy to place 2 animals in the top 10 (she had 10th in the Solid Sr Doe class too).  Anne-Marie's doe went into that horrid shed, and unfortunately did not place because of it.  There's always next time, though.

Laura Garrison, from Maryland, did extremely well with a 3rd place Solid Sr Doe.  To top off her day, she won the brand new Mini Lop Knowledge Contest.  (She's one of the youth from District 9)  We had a blast with her and her dad throughout the day.

The other Youth from District 9 that was out there was Nicole Poole.  We never did hear exactly how she did, but we're sure it was really well.  Like Laura, she has great rabbits.  We know they all had a great time!

Mark and Annette LaFontaine won Best AND Best Opposite Sex Breed with two absolutely gorgeous animals!  No one minded losing to them.

Because of the timing, Karen unfortunately missed the Youth awards, but we do know that Amber won Best of Breed, and Clinton Davis Best Opposite Sex Breed.  Congratulations!!!

The banquet was great.  The best banquet food that I've had in a very long time!  We were able to sit with the Davis' and the Howman's, and we really had a great time!

District 9's very own Tom Poole had his first shot at auctioning.  He did extremely well!  I couldn't believe it!  He couldn't believe it.  He had apparently never done it before, and is now considering considering changing careers.  I don't blame him, but do think his wife will shoot him.

Clinton Davis some how got Brianna Celesnik's pajama top and attempted to auction it off (the bids are fake and it's only meant to make Brianna blush...which it did a very good job of).  Maybe the scariest part of it was the fact that Clinton fit very well in the top!

Somewhere around 10 pm we returned to our room, and passed out from exhaustion.  We have an early day tomorrow, and have to leave (which is very sad in our book).
