It was a loooong day! But, what a ride. We're currently in Toledo, Ohio, and in a very cool hotel with a French theme (3 pools...this was very important after our day). I did all the driving today, but mainly because I wanted to. We left the house somewhere around 9 am, and was promptly pulled over for speeding somewhere around 11:30 am. Ooops! All's good, though. We stopped for lunch at a McDonald's, after nearly running out of gas because the exit we stopped at didn't have any working gas pumps (we're city girls... leave us alone). Ten minutes into our McDonald's stay I managed to dump an entire large soda onto Anne-Marie's seat. Luckily, she wasn't in it.
As you can see, this is maybe not the best day in my life....but fun! We got to this absolutely beautiful, huge hotel! But not before getting lost (in the hotel) when we came back from dinner. Fifteen minutes of walking around the hotel, and we finally immerge from a door to check on where we were to the car... we came out the same door we went in!!! We finally gave up and walked completely around the hotel to the door closest to our rooms.
Contrary to your current opinion of us, we're not completely dumb. We just don't have any stories that may contradict that at this point. We'll be in Kalamazoo tomorrow, and I'll update as soon as I can. Hopefully I'll get the pictures up then! See you soon! -Karen
