If you are having problems with EMail or programs like ICQ you may have the wrong DNS servers entered. This would have happened only if you were a customer that went through the transition of removing the -0020 off of the usernames. At the same time you also needed to change your DNS entries to point to our servers. If you did not then you are still using the Nortel servers. Lately they seem to be going downhill quickly. This would cause you problems when you were trying to make connections to almost everything. We have ran into this problem for a few customers but I'm worried that others are simply not saying anything. See below on how to change this to the proper settings. Our DNS addresses are 204.213.64.16 & 204.213.64.17, anything else could be causing problems. The best setting is to have the server assign them when you log on.
1. Double Click on "My Computer"
2. Double Click on "Dial up networking"
3. Find the Icon that dials Tiadon Systems and RIGHT Mouse Click on it. Click on Properties
4. Click on Server Types and click on TCP/IP Settings
5. This should show you what the addresses are or you may have selected for the Server to assign the addresses.
6. Click on Server assigned name server addresses if it is not selected. This should grey out the other entries.
7. Close the windows with the OK buttons and reboot the computer.
